Membership
We have a broad membership extending from Woking to Guildford, Godalming, Cranleigh, Ash, Farnham and beyond, with a group meeting regularly to work on our campaigns. We have a total membership of about 100 who participate in our mailing actions. Several of our members belong to Guildford Environment Forum, Godalming community action groups and Woking LA21.
We welcome anyone enthusiastic in contributing to personal actions to influence the global environment. We are planning to become more active in the community and would welcome new members (or partners) who would like to become active in developing community participation.
Who are we?
Friends of the Earth is one of the country's most respected environmental groups, putting forward positive solutions to environmental problems. It has a network of over 250 local groups across the country.
Our group campaigns on local and national environmental issues that affect the local area, drawing together people from all walks of life.
Our monthly meetings give you the chance to debate the issues, develop ideas and take part in campaigns. There's always plenty to do, and your ideas will always be welcome!
We’d love to meet you, but if meetings aren’t your thing, why not get involved by e-mail? Lots of campaigning can be done from home now.
