Ask yourself where you can make savings:
- Can any journeys be avoided?
- Do you need to own a car? Could public transport and/or taxis work equally well instead.
- Use supermarket delivery services to avoid some journeys?
- Walk or cycle if possible
- Public transport instead of the car
- Car share if possible –link to car sharing schemes

- Buy a low carbon car – in general the smaller the car, the smaller its footprint . Carbon rating of cars
- Avoid flying if at all possible – high impact on environment
